AUDIO OUT
Switch your Mac audio output from inside After Effects.

INSTALL
1. Double-click "Install Audio Out.command".
macOS may say it is from an unidentified developer.
If it does: right-click the file, choose Open, then click Open again.
2. Quit After Effects and open it again.
3. IMPORTANT, one time only:
Settings > Audio > Default Output, choose the entry that starts with
"System Default". After Effects normally locks itself to one fixed
device and ignores the Mac output setting, which makes this panel look
like it does nothing. "System Default" makes it follow along.
4. Window > Extensions > Audio Out. Dock it wherever you like.

USING IT
Three tiles: monitor, laptop, headphones.
Click one and your Mac audio output switches to it.
The active output glows blue and its name shows at the bottom.
The headphones tile stays dim until a pair is connected.

REQUIREMENTS
macOS, After Effects 2021 or newer, Homebrew.
The installer adds switchaudio-osx (the tool that does the switching) for you.
